Top Load Cartoning more and more includes robotic product handling. Our Aquila Robotic Top Load System places almost any product into trays, folding cartons, display outers or into the in-feed chain of a wrapper for multi-packing.
Although initially developed for pre-packed items we have also managed to handle many unpacked products with the same accuracy thanks to smooth robotic precision and our know-how in terms of end-of-arm tooling.
Developed for product speeds up to 700 ppm and over 100 cartons the Aquila perfectly adds to our carton former and closer series.
Typical applications are chocolate bars or tablets, muesli bars, chewing gum bags, hamburger patties and even frozen fish products.
Designed for the optimum flexibility in robotic product top loading, the Aquila Series offers product speeds of up to 700ppm with a triple race track and product speeds of up to 300ppm with a single race track.
This full servo system accepts fully random product and collates into the required row and layer number through the racetrack and robot, replacing the need of many hand loading operators and labour.
The Aquila Machine is a member of the Top Load Robotic Loader family produced by 3S Packaging Technology.
Other ranges of machinery include both carton lock and glue erectors, end loaders, a full range of carton closers and all types of product specific infeed systems.
